Summary

Analysis of 2020 SSC-survey reader data on schooling type (public/private/religious/home/unschool) vs. satisfaction, SAT, life/social/romantic outcomes, with feeble-but-honest attempts to control for religion, class, and age. Findings: home-schoolers liked their schooling most (robust); unschooling looks worst across measures (weak, tiny n); the home-schooler relationship gap is explained away by age. Heavily caveated selection effects throughout.
